Moon and Earth from Chang'e 5-T1
NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE
This iconic image of Earth and the Moon was taken by the Chang'e 5-T1 mission. From this vantage point, Earth appears as a small blue marble, while the Moon, being closer to the spacecraft, looks larger. The Moon's far side, usually hidden from Earth, is visible and appears dark and gray compared to our more reflective planet. The robotic mission captured this view last week.
