COSMIC MESSAGE
Venus, named for the Roman goddess of love, and Mars, the war god's namesake, appear together by moonlight in this skyview. It was recorded on February 20 from Charleston, South Carolina. The three-second exposure also shows earthshine illuminating the dark surface of the young crescent Moon. This was a much anticipated triple conjunction.
