“NGC 2903: A Missing Jewel in Leo” is copyrighted by Tony Hallas. NASA has permission to show it and we don't, so it isn't on this card.
See it on NASA's siteNGC 2903 is a barred spiral galaxy about 20 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. It is a bright galaxy, popular with amateur astronomers, and surprisingly absent from Charles Messier's catalog. This image captures its colorful structure from a small ground-based telescope.
