NGC 1333 is a reflection nebula about 1,000 light-years away in the constellation Perseus. It lies at the edge of a large, star-forming molecular cloud. The nebula's bluish hues are caused by starlight reflecting off interstellar dust, with hints of red emission from young stellar objects.
