From the summit of Cerro Las Campanas in Chile, the thin crescent Moon and Mercury shone brightly after sunset. This image captures both the sunlit and earthlit parts of the Moon, alongside the innermost planet. Below them, Venus and the star Regulus also appeared close together in the twilight sky.
