COSMIC MESSAGE
This storm cloud over Texas is made of millions of tiny water and ice droplets. The flat bottom is common in clouds where air temperature drops with altitude, causing water vapor to condense. The unusual orange and green colors are due to light scattering by ice crystals and water droplets within the cloud.
