Close-up of The Great Red Spot
NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE
Jupiter's Great Red Spot, a storm larger than Earth, is seen in this close-up from the Juno spacecraft. Juno passed directly above the storm during its seventh perijove, capturing this data from less than 10,000 kilometers away. Citizen scientists processed the raw JunoCam data. The Great Red Spot has been observed for centuries.
