On April 26, the Cassini spacecraft began its Grand Finale dives between Saturn and its rings. This long, thin 'noodle mosaic' is a rapid series of 137 low-resolution images captured by Cassini's wide-angle camera. It tracks the spacecraft's progress across Saturn's swirling cloud tops, mapping the atmospheric curve onto a flat image plane. The top panel is centered at 90 degrees north, about 72,400 kilometers above Saturn.
