COSMIC MESSAGE
The Juno spacecraft, on its seventh close approach to Jupiter, captured this stunning view of one of the planet's signature vortices. This anticyclonic storm, about 8,000 kilometers in diameter, was first spotted in Jupiter's North North Temperate Zone in the 1990s. Juno came within 3,500 kilometers of Jupiter's turbulent cloud tops, providing a clear look at this massive storm.
