Fomalhaut, a star only 25 light-years away, is orbited by at least one planet, Dagon, and several inner dust disks. An outer ice ring, first discovered about 20 years ago, has an unusually sharp inner boundary. The Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) captured this outer ring with unprecedented detail, showing it to be complete and uniform.
