COSMIC MESSAGE

Van den Bergh 9, or vdB 9, is a cloud of cosmic dust reflecting blue starlight from the hot star SU Cassiopeiae. This reflection nebula, about twice the size of the full moon in the sky, is found in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is the ninth object in Sidney van den Bergh's 1966 catalog of reflection nebulae.
