On Valentine's Day in 1990, the Voyager 1 spacecraft, four billion miles from the Sun, created this first-ever Solar System family portrait. The 60-frame mosaic sweeps through the inner Solar System and extends to Neptune, then the outermost planet. It captured Venus, Earth, Jupiter, and Neptune, among others, in a single grand view.
