Stephan's Quintet from Hubble
NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE
Stephan's Quintet is a group of galaxies, but only four are dancing together in a cosmic tango, about 300 million light-years away. The fifth galaxy is an interloper. This reprocessed Hubble image shows the interacting galaxies, NGC 7319, 7318B, 7318A, and 7317, with their characteristic yellowish casts and distorted loops and tails from gravitational interactions.
