COSMIC MESSAGE

Omega Centauri, also known as NGC 5139, is a globular star cluster about 15,000 light-years away. It contains about 10 million stars, many of them older than our Sun. This cluster is the largest and brightest of the roughly 200 globular clusters in the Milky Way's halo. Unlike most clusters, Omega Centauri has different stellar populations.
