On July 19, 2013, Earth was photographed from two different worlds in our Solar System. The Cassini spacecraft, orbiting Saturn, captured Earth as a pale blue dot just below Saturn's rings. On the same day, the MESSENGER spacecraft, orbiting Mercury, also photographed the Earth-Moon system against the dark backdrop of space.
