Quadrantid meteors streak across the sky near the Great Wall of China in this composite image. The shower is named for Quadrans Muralis, an obsolete constellation, with its radiant located near the modern constellations of Bootes and Draco. This annual meteor shower is a northern hemisphere event, with its radiant out of frame to the upper right.
