COSMIC MESSAGE

The Carina Nebula, NGC 3372, is one of the sky's largest nebulae. It is visible to the unaided eye if you are far enough south. The nebula is home to Eta Carinae, a star that sometimes flares to become one of the brightest in the sky. This deep exposure captures the nebula near the horizon from a very dark location.
