On May 3rd, 2020, cosmic dust grains streaked through southern skies above Reunion Island. These Eta Aquarid meteors are swept up as Earth passes through debris streams left by Comet 1/P Halley. This exposure captures a bright meteor flashing over a sea of clouds. The meteor streak points back to the shower's radiant in the constellation Aquarius.
