COSMIC MESSAGE
UGC 1810 is a spiral galaxy undergoing a dramatic interaction with a smaller neighbor. This gravitational battle has distorted its shape, particularly its blue outer ring. The blue color indicates the presence of massive, hot stars that have recently formed in this region. Together with its companion, it is known as Arp 273.
