The Hubble Ultra Deep Field in Light and Sound
The Hubble Ultra-Deep Field shows thousands of galaxies in a patch of sky that looks empty to the naked eye. The Hubble Space Telescope stared at this region for hundreds of hours to collect enough light. Each point of light is a galaxy, some billions of light-years away, and each contains billions of stars.
