Halloween and the Ghost Head Nebula
The Ghost Head Nebula, NGC 2088, is a reflection nebula in the constellation Orion. It is illuminated by the light of nearby hot, young stars. The nebula's name comes from its appearance, which some say resembles a ghostly face. These clouds of gas and dust are common in star-forming regions.
