The Cassini spacecraft captured this view of Saturn's rings from the perspective of its ice moon, Tethys. Tethys itself is about 1,000 kilometers across and orbits Saturn at a distance of 300,000 kilometers. This image, taken in 2005, shows the moon in sunlight just below and to the left of the center. It offers a unique ringscape of the Saturnian system.
