A bright Lyrid meteor streaked across the central Milky Way in the early hours of April 24, reflecting in Lake Nian, China. The annual Lyrid meteor shower occurs as Earth passes through dust left by Comet Thatcher. This fireball's trail points back to its radiant in the constellation Lyra.
