Leonid Meteors Through Orion

Leonid meteors streak across the sky through the constellation Orion. It is difficult to predict where the next meteor will appear during a shower, so finding a comfortable spot to view a large expanse of dark sky is ideal. This image, taken from Hainan, China, captures several meteor streaks over a few hours during the 2022 Leonid shower. The Leonids peak in November each year.
