COSMIC MESSAGE

The Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters, is a famous open star cluster visible to the naked eye. This 11-hour exposure from Siding Spring Observatory reveals the dust cloud surrounding the cluster. The stars and the dust are about 440 light-years away in the constellation Taurus.
