COSMIC MESSAGE

The Cone Nebula is a large pillar of dust where new stars are forming, located in the NGC 2264 star-forming region. Strong winds from young stars sculpt these dramatic shapes of gas and dust. This image was taken with a half-meter telescope at the El Sauce Observatory in Chile.
