Meteor Misses Galaxy

COSMIC MESSAGE
This photo captures a meteor streaking across Earth's atmosphere, with the Triangulum Galaxy, M33, in the background. The galaxy is three million light-years away, while the meteor is only a fraction of a light-second from us. The meteor is a tiny grain of rock, much smaller than the galaxy. Even so, it makes for a dramatic cosmic juxtaposition.
