For those in the northern hemisphere, September's Full Moon is the Harvest Moon. On September 17 and 18, the moon passed through Earth's outer shadow in a partial lunar eclipse. This sequence of exposures captures the eclipsed Harvest Moon setting behind Spiš Castle in Slovakia. The hazy morning sky adds to the atmospheric scene.
