On November 21, 2022, the Orion spacecraft, on its Artemis I mission, captured this image of Earth setting behind the Moon's bright edge. Orion was headed for a powered flyby, taking it within 130 kilometers of the lunar surface. The maneuver gained velocity, allowing the spacecraft to reach a distant retrograde orbit around the Moon.
