Perijove 11: Passing Jupiter

This video captures Jupiter as NASA's Juno spacecraft made its eleventh close approach, or perijove, in early 2018. It covers about four hours, showing Jupiter rising as Juno approaches from the north. The closest view, from about 3,500 kilometers, reveals the planet's dynamic cloud bands and storms.
