Mystery: Little Red Dots in the Early Universe
Hundreds of these faint little red dots have been found by the James Webb Space Telescope in the early universe. Nobody knows what they are yet. They could be supermassive black holes accreting inside gas and dust clouds, or bursts of star formation.
