NASA APOD · Gaetan Maxant
COSMIC MESSAGE

IC 342 is a spiral galaxy about 10 million light-years away in Camelopardalis. It is similar in size to other large, bright spirals. Our own Milky Way's dust and gas clouds hide it from clear view. Even so, it is a prominent galaxy in the night sky.
