Our Milky Way galaxy is filled with radioactive clouds. These clouds contain elements like Aluminum-26, forged in the hearts of massive stars and supernovae. The COMPTEL instrument on the Compton Gamma-Ray Observatory mapped these clouds, showing us where fresh heavy elements are distributed.
