COSMIC MESSAGE
This image from the Hubble Space Telescope's Faint Object Camera shows Gliese 623, a dim double star system 25 light-years away in Hercules. The individual stars, Gliese 623a and the fainter Gliese 623b, were resolved for the first time in 1994. Gliese 623b is 60,000 times less luminous than the Sun and about 10 times less massive, separated from its companion by 200 million miles.
