Irregular Moons Discovered Around Uranus

Two previously undiscovered moons of Uranus were confirmed last week, the first in irregular orbits. All fifteen previously known moons of Uranus orbit near the planet's equator. These new moons are thought to be oddly shaped and about 100 kilometers across. They orbit in unusual directions, which is why they are considered irregular.
