COSMIC MESSAGE

Comet Stonehouse, designated 1998 H1, was discovered by Patrick L. Stonehouse and announced on April 26. Comets move against a field of background stars, their slow apparent motion revealing their orbits. At 10th magnitude, Comet Stonehouse is too faint for the unaided eye, but it is a popular object for telescopes.
