COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet Williams is currently the brightest comet in the sky. It is moving slowly through the constellation Centaurus and is visible to Southern Hemisphere observers with binoculars. In ten days, Comet Williams will reach its closest point to the Sun, though it will still be farther from the Sun than Earth. Northern Hemisphere observers may see it in late November, but it might require a small telescope.
