NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Wolf-Rayet stars are so hot and tumultuous they are slowly disintegrating. WR124, visible near the center, is creating the nebula M1-67 by expelling gas globs, each over 30 times more massive than Earth. This star has been blowing itself apart for the last 10,000 years, and astronomers are still trying to understand why. WR124 is 15,000 light-years away.
