NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

The four blue images in this photograph are all the same distant quasar, warped by the gravity of a foreground red elliptical galaxy. This gravitational lensing effect creates a 'cloverleaf' pattern. Light from the quasar travels billions of years to reach us, taking different paths around the massive galaxy.
