COSMIC MESSAGE
This Hubble Space Telescope image of NGC 3603 shows stars at various stages of life. Glowing hydrogen pillars on the right indicate new stars emerging from dense gas nurseries. Dark clouds, called Bok globules, are likely even earlier stages of star formation. At the center is a cluster of brilliant, young stars.
