COSMIC MESSAGE

The Very Large Array, or VLA, is a collection of 27 radio telescopes in New Mexico. Each telescope is the size of a house and can be moved on train tracks. Celebrating its twentieth year, the VLA has been instrumental in many discoveries. These include water on Mercury, radio-bright coronae around stars, and micro-quasars in our galaxy.
