COSMIC MESSAGE

The annual Perseid Meteor Shower, caused by grains of dust and gravel from Comet Swift-Tuttle, peaks this weekend. These particles vaporize as they enter Earth's atmosphere, creating streaks of light. The Perseids are typically the most active meteor shower of the year. This year, however, a bright Moon will make them harder to see.
