COSMIC MESSAGE
Rocks from space hit Earth every day, though larger impacts are less frequent. Daily, many kilograms of space dust filter down to Earth. Baseball-sized rocks and ice balls streak through our atmosphere, mostly evaporating. While significant threats from objects near 100 meters in diameter, which strike Earth roughly every 1000 years, could cause tidal waves, smaller objects are a more common occurrence.
