COSMIC MESSAGE
This image captures a meteor streaking through the early morning sky above Sedona, Arizona. It's part of the annual Perseid meteor shower, made of dust from Comet Swift-Tuttle. The meteor entered Earth's atmosphere at over 200,000 kilometers per hour, glowing briefly as friction vaporized the dust grain and ionized atoms.
