A Leonid meteor streaks across the sky above Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona. Chinese astronomers recorded the first Leonid shower in 902 AD, and they happen every November. This meteor was captured by the Night Sky Live camera during the 2002 peak. The shower is caused by debris from Comet Tempel-Tuttle.
