On October 9, 1992, a meteoroid entered Earth's atmosphere over Kentucky and Pennsylvania. It fragmented, and one piece, the Peekskill meteorite, struck a parked car in Peekskill, New York. This event was captured by multiple cameras, providing valuable data on meteoroid entry and impact.
