Jupiter is a favorite target for telescopes, even small ones on Earth. This image captures Jupiter and its moons in a dance of shadows. The Great Red Spot, a massive storm over three hundred years old, is also visible. This particular image is one of over a thousand digital images taken between 7:19 and 8:40 UT on December 15, 2002.
