A teenager from South Wales, UK, was photographing friends skateboarding when the sky did something strange. He documented this rare event, capturing one of the more spectacular sky images recorded. Roughly four minutes later, he took another picture of the dispersing trail. Experts disagree on what it is, but one hypothesis is an unusual noctilucent cloud.
