COSMIC MESSAGE
This is part of the first color panoramic view from Venus, transmitted by the Soviet Venera 13 lander in March 1982. Despite the extreme conditions, including sulfuric acid clouds, a surface temperature of 482 degrees Celsius, and 92 times Earth's atmospheric pressure, the lander sent back images and analyzed the Venusian soil.
