The Cone Nebula, part of the NGC 2264 star-forming region, is a prime example of majestic shapes in stellar nurseries. This close-up from the Hubble Space Telescope shows the cone's blunt end, sculpted by energetic winds from newborn stars. The Cone Nebula is about 2,500 light-years away in Monoceros and stretches about 7 light-years long.
